You can apply to be included in the register of electors at any time by completing application form RFA and sending it to Donegal County Council, Franchise Unit, County House, Lifford, Co. Donegal.
A Draft Register of Electors is published on 1st November each year and made available for inspection at Garda Stations, Post Offices, Public Libraries and Public Service Centres. It can also be checked online at www.checktheregister.ie.
Any person can make a claim to have corrections made to the Draft Register before 25th November. Form RFA1 should be used for this purpose. A list of claims is compiled between 25th and 30th November and the County Registrar decides on these during December.
The live register is published on 1st February and comes into force on 15th February each year.
